LaSanta Botanicals operates with management in Canada and Colombia and holds Colombian licenses to cultivate psychoactive and non‑psychoactive cannabis, fabricate and export extracts, and trade cannabis genetics. The company produces organic medical cannabis and has assembled a leadership team with expertise in cultivation, pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical research. LaSanta operates more than 20 hectares of agricultural land north of Bogotá, including a 12‑hectare farm with ~15,000 square metres of operating greenhouse and plans to add 18,000 square metres of cultivation space. It has a genetic bank and a university partnership for independent laboratory testing to ensure standardized products. LaSanta plans to build out capacity to produce 36,000 kilograms of dried cannabis flower per year by 2020 and to process output in a GMP‑compliant extraction facility. The company launched in late 2017 and combines agricultural and scientific expertise with product branding and distribution know‑how.
