LANDE operates an investment crowdfunding platform that finances small and medium-sized farms by accepting machinery, land, or future harvests as collateral. The platform offers loans with terms up to 24 months, an average LTV around 42.2%, and potential investor returns of up to 14%. LANDE has registered more than 1,700 investors and reports having issued over €4.5 million in loans to date, including €3 million in 2022, and has financed over 300 farmers. The company merged with agricultural crowdfunding platform LendSecured in 2021 to become a full-service agricultural financing and crowdfunding platform. LANDE partners with LemonWay to handle payments and KYC/AML requirements and requires investors to have a SEPA bank account. Management says demand for agricultural financing is high across Europe and plans include expansion into Romania and entry into other European markets.
