Scale3 Labs is a web3 infrastructure company building developer tools, starting with a monitoring and observability tech stack for blockchain networks and nodes. Its inaugural product, Autopilot, automates standing up, monitoring and upgrading blockchain nodes and provides node and network telemetry, community intelligence, and ecosystem-specific insights using open-source tooling. The platform includes a dashboard to help node operators glean community information and manage node upgrades to reduce total cost of operations for exchanges, custodians, L1 foundations, staking providers, and node infrastructure providers. Scale3 plans to expand Autopilot beyond the Sui blockchain to additional leading networks in Q4 2022 and will use the funding to accelerate development of its suite of web3 tools. The team includes former Coinbase infrastructure engineers and executives and other backend and distributed systems engineers with experience at Microsoft, Dropbox, VMware, HP and Consensys; CEO Ola Muse and CTO Karthik Kalyanaraman are quoted in the announcement. Financially, the company announced a $5.3M seed round to support product development and expansion.
