Lapso Studios operates a boutique studio model combining high-intensity cycling, dance, strength, resistance and coaching into 45-minute sessions sequenced to music. The company uses a B2C pay-per-use model and also offers corporate sessions for employee well-being. Founded in 2021 by Eugenia Llopart and four partners, its first and only centre is located on Diagonal next to Plaça Francesc Macià in Barcelona. Revenue is expected to rise by more than 47% in 2023, from €542,000 to probably more than €800,000, and the company plans to finish its second year with a positive EBITDA. Lapso says it will use the new funding to accelerate growth and open additional studios in Barcelona and other Spanish cities. The team is open to launching new fitness modalities as trends evolve.
