Latitud provides a suite of products and programs that streamline company formation, cap table management, and access to capital for Latin American founders. Its first product, Latitud Go, automates incorporation to create venture-backable entities at a fraction of current costs; dozens of companies are using the software today. The company also runs Latitud Fellowships, an educational curriculum that has attracted more than 800 entrepreneurs who have collectively raised $250 million at a total valuation above $1.5 billion. Latitud Ventures, the firm’s venture arm led by Tomas Roggio, has invested in more than 80 startups including Pomelo, BHub and Alinea. Latitud remained bootstrapped until this round, operates with a roughly 25-person distributed team across the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, Uruguay, Panama, Argentina and Spain, and says it has no official headquarters. The company plans to aggressively hire and to become a SaaS/fintech “operating system” for venture-backed startups in Latin America.
