LaunchBit operates a self-serve email advertising network that lets advertisers target demographics and bid on ad impressions in email newsletters. Co-founder Elizabeth Yin, a former Googler, has compared the product to Google AdWords. The company also offers a publisher product called NewsletterDirectory, where publishers paste HTML into email templates, review potential ads, remove unwanted ads, and track results. LaunchBit left private beta in February. The startup raised $960,000 in a seed round. The company plans to move from Silicon Valley to Las Vegas in the fall.
