Overview
LeadPages provides tools to create custom landing pages and a suite of digital marketing features focused on improving conversion rates. Since launching in January 2013, the company has worked with over 35,000 customers and reports increasing overall conversion rates by 400 percent. Features include template sorting by estimated conversion rate, A/B testing, and SMS campaigns tailored to conversion optimization. LeadPages has been cash-flow positive since its inception and plans to use the new funding to expand engineering and sales teams and pursue possible strategic acquisitions. The company also launched an enterprise offering, LeadPages Corporate, and is starting a user conference called Converted in October in Minneapolis. LeadPages offers HTML5 landing-page templates (contact, webinar, sales lead, etc.) and a data-driven analytics engine that aggregates customers' pages as a universal data source for real-time analysis. The service runs on Google App Engine and uses Big Table, avoiding WYSIWYG translation by serving prebuilt HTML pages that can be decoupled and analyzed in the Google cloud stack. Pages are optimized for mobile, and the Pro tier includes A/B split testing and the ability to upload templates. Pricing is $37 per month for the basic service and $67 per month for Pro, with annual subscriptions discounted. Because LeadPages collects data across its customer base, it claims even the smallest businesses can benefit from scale for meaningful analysis. The company sees potential to extend into media planning, deeper mobile services, and analysis of data objects such as forms based on the products it builds from its data.
