Overview

LeanData provides a centrally-managed Revenue Ops platform that helps companies plan, execute and analyze go-to-market motions while integrating with sales and marketing applications. The platform is designed to increase speed to revenue, improve the buyer experience and align sales and marketing ROI. LeanData serves large enterprise customers including Airbnb, Expedia, FICO, Nokia, Pitney Bowes, Siemens and Sutherland Global Services. The company is led by CEO Evan Liang. LeanData intends to use new funding to continue to expand operations. The product targets companies of all sizes seeking to streamline and measure go-to-market execution. LeanData provides a SaaS lead management platform that matches the most relevant people in an organization to potential buyers. The solution can be tailored to any business initiative, including account-based strategies. Co‑founded in 2012 by CEO Evan Liang and CTO Kelvin Cheung, the company serves more than 200 customers ranging from fast-scaling startups to publicly traded companies across industries. LeanData intends to use the new funding to sign new partnerships and expand the reach of its strategic solution. Financially, the company announced a $10m Series B to support those expansion plans. As part of the investment, a new board member, Hartwig, will join LeanData's board of directors. LeanData provides a SaaS workflow engine that automates the process of matching unconverted leads in Salesforce to the correct customer accounts. The company targets SMB customers seeking leaner ways to manage and act on Salesforce data. Its approach relies on fuzzy data-logic matching and crowdsourced labor to reduce manual lead-mapping work. LeanData reports that roughly 75% of leads in Salesforce match to existing accounts and has analyzed over 30 million Salesforce leads to date. The startup has around 30 customers, including Marketo, Lithium, and DataSift. With new funding the company is hiring a CMO (Dan Ziman) and plans to invest in product development and expansion.
