Leap24 is an Utrecht-based startup that develops accessible, spacious depots and fast charging stations for electric delivery vans and trucks across Northwest Europe. The company focuses on business-park locations and designs stations that allow rapid installation and an above-average number of chargers. Founded in 2021 by Pelle Schlichting and Ferry Bosgra, Leap24 launched its first charging station in Almere in May after an earlier €4.25M raise from Yard Energy Investments and angel investors. Leap24 aims to address charging constraints for fleets that cannot charge on-site and to support zero-emission urban distribution zones. The new €15M funding will accelerate expansion of its network in the Netherlands, with planned openings in Germany and the U.K. and a target of forty locations in the Netherlands.
