Founded in 2018 by a lawyer and an immigrant, the company is a Techstars alum and has demonstrated success for hundreds of employers, immigrants, and their lawyers. Legalpad employs 15 people across Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; Spokane, WA; and Jackson, WY. The company highlights strong market demand as millions pursue U.S. work opportunities each year amid a complex visa system. Legalpad says it will use new funding to continue connecting global talent with opportunity around the world. As part of the round, Amplo’s Board Partner Alec Ross will join Legalpad’s board of directors.
