Legendary Entertainment is a Burbank, California–based media company led by CEO Thomas Tull. It operates film (Legendary Pictures), television (Legendary Television) and comics (Legendary Comics) divisions focused on creating and delivering content to mainstream and fandom audiences. The company is developing in-house titles including Warcraft, Godzilla, Seventh Son, Gravel and Mass Effect, and has upcoming releases with Warner Bros. such as Pacific Rim, Wrath of the Titans, Jack the Giant Killer and The Dark Knight Rises. Legendary reported new financings to refinance prior debt and to fund projects across its filmed entertainment, publishing and television business units. The company said it raised $275M in aggregate equity and debt financings, including $128M of new equity from new and existing investors and a $150M debt facility. Proceeds are intended to retire and refinance debt incurred in connection with Legendary’s 2010 recapitalization and to execute projects across its business units.
