LendingRobot
66 South Logan Street, Denver, Colorado, 80209, United States
Overview
LendingRobot is an automated investment service for Lending Club and Prosper that uses high-speed automation software and machine-learning algorithms to select and invest in P2P loans. The service can execute investments in less than one second after loans become available and supports more than 40 filtering criteria. Its algorithms consider signals such as how quickly and how much other investors have invested, enabling retail users to compete with professional lenders. Founders Emmanuel Marot and Gilad Golan developed the idea initially to automate their own investments, taking inspiration from eBay 'sniper' software. The Seattle-based company plans to use the new funding to further develop its product and accelerate growth. The article frames the opportunity as driven by a rapidly growing P2P lending market and increased competition from institutional investors.
