Lenkie is a London-based fintech that provides a cashflow management platform offering fast, flexible, transaction-based financing solutions for SMEs. It leverages real-time data and payments technology to deliver financing precisely when businesses need it. Founded in 2021 by Sanjeev Jeyakumar and Nnaemeka Obodoekwe, the platform has already funded over £70M to underserved SMEs, financing bills to more than 2,000 suppliers across 40 countries. The company raised £49M in a Series A comprising £4M in equity and a £45M debt facility. The round was led by a US private credit fund focused on supporting lenders internationally. Lenkie plans to use the funds to enhance its data-driven underwriting models, expand partnerships with leading platforms, and explore new markets.
