625 Market Street Suite 200, San Francisco, California, 94105, United States
Overview
Leo provides a lightweight platform for one-on-one and many-to-many group conversations where photos, text and short videos self-destruct to reduce cognitive load around permanent sharing. Messages and photos/text disappear after five seconds; videos can be up to 10 seconds. The app presents conversations as a linear "stack" and minimizes taps with a simple UI featuring dedicated buttons for video, photo and text. Groups are inviteable and open-ended (any invitee can add others), users can leave groups at any time, and blocking prevents contact and visibility in shared conversations. The founders built the app to encourage more casual, frequent sharing rather than curated, permanent posts. The company has launched on Apple App Store and Google Play and has raised funding to begin scaling adoption.
