Les Halles de la transition was founded in 2022 in Toulouse by Chloé Coher and Mélanie Moresve and has operated a pilot site that was tested over four years. The organisation runs an engaged tiers-lieu and coworking space model which the founders now intend to scale via franchising. The company has just closed its first fundraising of about €1 million from private investors and banks to formalize and structure the franchise model. Management has set an explicit growth target of expanding to 50 locations. The new funds are earmarked to duplicate the Toulouse pilot and support the operational setup of franchisees across France.
