Lessons are self-paced and include choose-your-adventure scenarios alongside guides that outline content, objectives, homework and quiz recommendations. The curriculum covers sex education, mental health, race and other topics; the company is developing an anti-racism course for launch in the fall and a race unit that will address maternal health and food insecurity. Lessonbee sells subscriptions to school districts with pricing starting at $16 per learner annually and individual courses at $8 per learner annually. The company reports 600 registered schools on its platform and is actively pitching its service to cash-strapped districts and venture capitalists. Founder Reva McPollom says Lessonbee aims to expand health across the curriculum, integrating its content into social studies and science to address inequity and policy-driven gaps in health education.
