TM3 Systems completed a $1.6M funding to support its operations. The company intends to use the funds to continue technology and product development and to begin application exploration in disaster relief, mining and entertainment. Founded in 2012 as a spin-out of the Michigan incubator NextEnergy, TM3 Systems is based in Detroit, Michigan. It provides universally compatible intelligent power management for off-grid applications; its products are designed to meter, control and optimize power in remote locations. The company will work with Michigan CAT’s onsite power generators and is currently involved in several projects with the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC).
