The club emphasizes a long‑standing youth training system and talent scouting powered by data to develop players. It generates revenue from commercial sponsorships, self-run events, player commercial activities, prize money and e‑commerce merchandise, with sponsorships as the primary source. Annual revenue is reported at RMB 40–50 million and the club expects to reach break‑even within two years. With the new funding LGD plans to increase investment in its academy and has already signed and renewed contracts with promising academy and star players.
