The company received $35,000 in seed capital after joining the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust’s investment portfolio through the Xpand parallel18 post-acceleration program. Konti plans to position itself on the road to export within the next five years and aims to double the number of projects in the next year. Management said the funding will be used to boost marketing in Puerto Rico and the United States to attract more customers. Konti formalized a relationship with the Trust via this investment and intends to develop projects to prepare for future exports.
