LIDDS develops cancer treatments using a drug-delivery technology that releases medication locally in close proximity to tumors. Its lead product, Liproca® Depot (hydroxyflutamide), has shown positive clinical results without hormonal side effects. The platform provides sustained drug release, reducing dosing frequency, and can be applied to already approved drugs to potentially shorten development time and lower risk and cost. LIDDS has signed an exclusive agreement with Recipharm to scale up the production process and for commercial manufacturing of Liproca® Depot ahead of a planned Phase IIb study slated to start in 2016. As part of the agreement, Recipharm invested 5 million kronor in a directed new share issue and became the company's third-largest shareholder. LIDDS is listed on NASDAQ First North under the ticker LIDDS; Redeye AB is its Certified Adviser.
