LifeFilm develops an automatic video editor that stitches footage into quality clips using algorithms that analyze frame dynamics, faces, scenes, and color coverage. The MVP was launched in autumn 2014, and the service currently has more than 2,000 users. The team is five people, including CEO Rustam Salavatov and CTO Renald Gubaidullin. The product targets casual users, TV correspondents, video bloggers, and small businesses that publish video to sites and social media. The company operates a freemium model with paid subscriptions (290 RUB/month for home users and 990 RUB/month for professionals) and per-video HD purchases (30/50 RUB). The team plans to launch a mobile version and translate the service into English.
