Its core product is daily deals delivered by email that enable consumers to book appointments directly into merchants' appointment calendars. Founded in 2006 by CEO Arnold Reichman, the company connects consumers with local service merchants and facilitates scheduling through its site. Lifebooker received a $4M investment from Edison Ventures; the company said it will use the funds to accelerate national expansion beyond New York and Los Angeles. As part of the financing, Edison Principal Ryan Ziegler and Director Network member Kevin Garton joined Lifebooker's board.
