Lifecom develops clinical decision support solutions built on its Adaptive Knowledge Engine (AKE), a general-purpose, platform-agnostic, nonlinear decision engine. The AKE is used to aid diagnosis, provide decision support and predictive analytics. Led by CEO and founder Dr. Steve Datena, the company intends to use the new funding to accelerate investments in sales and marketing, product development and engineering. Lifecom completed over $1M in Series A financing in a round led by Portland-area angel investors. As part of the financing, Dr. Charles Kilo, Chief Medical Officer at Oregon Health & Sciences University, joined Lifecom's board of directors. The company is based in Portland, Oregon.
