Lifelight develops a clinical-grade remote patient monitoring platform that uses smartphone and tablet cameras to measure oxygen saturation, pulse, blood pressure, and breathing rate by looking into the device’s camera for about 40 seconds. The platform is currently a CE Class I medical device; the company is working to deliver a CE Class II device and to gain FDA clearance to access the U.S. and other markets.
