269 E Grand Ave, South San Francisco, California, 94080, United States
Overview
Lift Labs develops home-health hardware to improve quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor, including Liftware, an anti-tremor spoon. Led by CEO Anupam Pathak, Ph.D., the company built the device using the same motion-sensing technology used in the iPhone to detect and correct tremor. Liftware consists of a removable handle containing electronic components and a stabilized spoon attachment. The company has begun taking orders and announced a partnership with the International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF). Financially, Lift Labs raised $1M in seed funding from Rock Health and Silicon Valley angel investors and previously received an $800K grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop the initial product. Lift Labs is based in San Francisco, CA.
