Lightful is a London-based social media and campaign management platform serving charities and social enterprises. The platform integrates with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to let organizations manage social content, supporter relationships and campaigns, with tools including a story-builder, in-platform chat and in-depth analytics, available on desktop and via iOS and Android apps. Lightful also operates a full-service digital consultancy, Lightful Services, which builds technology solutions such as community portals and donation pages for clients including London’s Air Ambulance, The Big Give and School for Social Entrepreneurs. Its R&D division, Lightful Labs, is trialing experiential technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, bots and voice recognition. The company has 1,800 sign-ups from charities, individuals and beyond-profit organizations. It plans to use the new funding to invest in its core platform, Lightful Services and Lightful Labs.
