LightningWorks delivers digital comic books combined with interactive games and NFTs, enabling fans to create, play, earn and own through blockchain. The platform uses deflationary NFT tokenomics called Forging, which lets users combine two or three comics of varying rarities to create a rarer tier and occasionally one of four secret tiers. Its epic tale Siege Worlds Zero merges classic comic storytelling with gameplay, allowing readers to ally with other fans to solve puzzles, engage in battles and share adventures. The platform also enables artists, writers, and creators to use AI technology to bring visions to life, monetize creations, and connect directly with audiences. After bootstrapping since 2020, LightningWorks raised $2.5M in seed funding provided by founder Geoff McCabe to move ahead with go-to-market initiatives for NFT comics.
