Lily makes a waterproof flying camera drone designed to film the pilot using a tracker that can start an orbit around the user. The device can fly up to 20 minutes, capture 1080p video at 60fps (and 720p slow motion at 120fps), and shoot 12-megapixel stills. Lily was offered for pre-sale in May 2014 and has been positioned for pool and beach use due to its waterproofing. The company announced a shipping delay, pushing deliveries until Summer 2016 to allow more development time. On the financial side, Lily closed a $14 million Series A and had previously raised $1 million in seed funding, per its Crunchbase page.
