Limata is a Munich, Germany-based startup that has developed an industrial UV-lithography technology to manufacture printed circuit boards. Its core product is an industrial precision machine that structures photoresist-coated carrier material by illuminating it, enabling fabrication of rigid, semi-flexible and flexible interconnect devices. The equipment targets PCB applications across electronic components such as control systems. In an equity financing round Limata raised €750,000 to launch the machine, further develop the technology and equipment, and achieve market entry. Investors in the round include High‑Tech Gründerfonds, BayernKapital, Falk‑Strascheg Holding and an undisclosed business angel. In 2009 Limata was sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology within a seed programme.
