Limbic builds clinical mental health AI, including the world’s first generative AI mental health care companion delivered via a chatbot interface that guides users through 100 themed activities and educational materials. Its solutions were developed for and proven in the United Kingdom’s NHS Talking Therapies, where they have been used by over 260,000 patients. Peer‑reviewed research and a Nature Medicine study reported substantial clinician time savings (about 50,000 hours across current NHS usage) and increased referrals among minority groups (179% for non-binary patients, 39% for Asian patients and 40% for Black patients). Limbic reports economic outcomes of nearly 5 to 10 times the economic cost per additional user recovery. The company says its AI is designed to enhance clinicians’ capabilities, accelerate patient onboarding, reduce wait times, and improve quality of care. The recent funding will support expansion of Limbic’s clinical AI to U.S. health providers, with initial U.S. health systems and payers to be announced.
