Lindera's flagship product, the Lindera SturzApp, uses a monocular smartphone or tablet camera and AI to generate millimetre-accurate gait parameters and determine an individual's fall risk. Care-givers record a 30–40 second video and complete a psychosocial questionnaire; analyses take roughly ten minutes. The app is in use in more than 350 care facilities and therapy centres across Germany. In a 22-month study with Charité University Medical Center and AOK Baden-Württemberg across 16 inpatient care facilities, the app reduced fall risk by almost 20%, improved gait speed, and reduced seniors' fear of falling; the trial cohort included 43% dementia patients and 76% using assistive devices, and 92% began planning health improvements. Lindera is expanding its product into clinics and therapist workflows, targeting physiotherapy, physical rehab, orthopaedics and neurology, including back therapy and broader musculoskeletal care. The company plans to broaden support for professionals, patients, and private users across life phases using its 3D AI movement analyses.
