linkedFA operates a social networking site that enables financial professionals to use social media compliantly by addressing industry rules and regulations. The platform includes compliance features that address regulatory concerns of the SEC, FINRA and FSA and aggregates and stores all relevant communications within an advisor's networks for more than six years. The company positions itself as the only social network designed specifically for the highly regulated financial community. linkedFA said the $3M funding commitment from existing private investors will support a global growth strategy including site upgrades and enhancements, integration of tier‑one content, partnerships and acquisitions. Leadership says the service is evolving based on feedback from an advisory panel of top‑rated financial professionals and the company plans to monetize new tier‑one partnerships. Since January 2011 linkedFA has announced site upgrades, executive appointments, acquisitions and premium content partnerships.
