Linko is a Berlin-based mobile startup developing a CRM solution that automates collection of sales activity data into a real-time, searchable social feed. The company raised a $2.6M seed round from angel investors including Giuseppe Donagemma, Pekka Vartiainen, Pertti Melamies, Roberto Condulmari and others. Linko intends to use the funds to build its developer team and further develop the product. Following the round the company acquired Localstream, a Berlin-based location-based search and content publishing platform, strengthening its executive team. Localstream founders Mark MacMahon and Jilles van Gurp previously led development of core services behind Nokia’s HERE platform, and their technology will be used to add location context to Linko’s system. The company is led by founder and CEO Mikko Alasaarela and is running a pilot with 50 companies and a waiting list of 2,000.
