LiquidTalent operates an on-demand marketplace that connects companies with designers and developers via web and mobile. Founded by Alex Abelin and Scott Annan, the platform matches talent and companies using social connections, areas of expertise, and project details. Users can communicate through text messages and direct call requests, and the service supports both 1099 contracting and W2 full-time placements. The company launched out of beta and is currently free to use on both sides, but plans to introduce a monthly membership fee when it flips on monetization instead of charging a hiring fee.
