Élisa Interactive develops Me-Z-Scene, an AI-assisted level design tool that arranges existing assets to create 3D scenes and game worlds without generating new assets. Founded by father-son duo François and Julien Bélanger, the company pivoted from building studio-specific tools to enabling amateur creators on user-generated-content platforms like Roblox. Me-Z-Scene is being tested by just under 100 users, with a full launch planned for the fall. At launch, Élisa plans to charge users based on credit usage, though details of the pricing model remain to be finalized. The startup raised $875,000 in a pre-seed round from AQC Capital, Anges Québec, Investissement Québec’s Eurêka Fund and angel investors to support development and commercialization. The team has also signaled potential future expansion into other UGC-forward games such as Minecraft or Fortnite.
