ListUp is a mobile app for peer-to-peer exchange of secondhand goods, launched in January 2016 by Sumit Gupta, Pulkit Gupta and Saurabh Jain. The platform centers on geographical proximity, letting users discover items for sale in their neighbourhood and contact sellers via direct chat to arrange in-person meetings. All users on ListUp are socially verified to increase trust between buyers and sellers. The company plans product enhancements that leverage data to provide personalized recommendations, alongside offline and online marketing to grow usage. It aims to build network density in target markets to improve discovery and transaction speed. To support these plans, ListUp recently completed a seed financing round.
