Litehaus offers a digital platform that matches landowners and property developers with construction companies, architects, contractors and interior designers, and enables users to track costs, schedules and real-time progress. The founders position the startup as an “Uber of construction,” aiming to reduce fragmentation in the home-building process. As a go-to-market strategy the company is focused on modular construction, which it says can be about 30% cheaper, 40% faster and 60% more sustainable than traditional methods (with claimed reductions of 90% waste and 50% CO2). The company launched early last year and is focused on becoming Europe’s fastest-growing construction tech startup while expanding its network to the U.S. Litehaus plans to use fresh capital to scale and hire for engineering, product, marketing and operations. The product is aimed at tackling affordable housing shortages across Europe and supporting more transparent, sustainable building at scale.
