Little Pim Corporation is a NYC-based foreign language learning company that introduces young children to a second language via a core DVD and digitally downloadable multimedia series available in 12 languages. Its proprietary Entertainment Immersion Method is a six-part video series that teaches 360 words and phrases. The content is sold directly through the company website, via digital download, in specialty retail stores and mass merchants in the U.S. and in 17 countries. The company was founded and is led by CEO Julia Pimsleur, daughter of language-teaching pioneer Dr. Paul Pimsleur. Little Pim intends to use new capital to create additional digital products and raise brand awareness through increased marketing. The company raised $2M in a Series C financing led by Golden Seeds.
