Livebuy provides a live shopping service that brings the teleshopping concept to smartphones by enabling retailers, brand manufacturers and online marketplaces to operate their own live video shopping platforms integrated into their websites and marketplaces. Founded in August 2020 by Alex von Harsdorf, Bertold Harmath and Armin Gattung, the company has been used by European market leaders including Douglas, MediaMarktSaturn and Lidl. Celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Miranda Kerr and Jessica Alba are also among early adopters of the app. The company plans to use the new funding to further develop its software offering, expand the scope of services to customers and grow across other European markets. Livebuy's technology integrates live video shopping directly into merchants' digital channels to modernize interactive commerce on mobile devices.
