Localbird
Tel Aviv, Israel
Overview
Founded in 2023 by brothers Ben and Joseph Levy, Israeli travel-tech startup Localbird offers property managers a white-label digital concierge trained on local data, property details, guest preferences and host knowledge. The platform autonomously recommends, books and adjusts activities, handing complex requests to human concierges to ensure service quality. Localbird generates revenue by sharing commissions on every guest booking and reports that partners already earn several hundred dollars in incremental monthly income. The company is live in 45 destinations across the U.S. and Latin America, connected to more than 10,000 properties and 1,000 vetted local suppliers. Management cites a four-fold year-over-year growth rate, achieved while operating under wartime constraints and focusing on cash flow and customer revenue. Localbird currently employs about 30 staff split between Israel and Latin America and plans to double headcount across product, engineering, marketing, finance and sales by 2026. The newly secured funding will fuel deeper expansion in its existing regions and further product development of its AI-human concierge stack.
