Loci Controls
14 Kendrick Road, Suite 2, Wareham, MA, 02571, United States
Overview
Loci Controls develops control hardware and software to monitor landfill gas characteristics and optimize vacuum extraction systems that harvest methane for use as fuel. The company offers a hardware-enabled service intended to increase revenue from landfill gas-to-energy plants, mitigate compliance risk, and address odor complaints. Loci is commercializing its technology with a planned first full deployment at the Crapo Hill Landfill in collaboration with CommonWealth Resource Management Corp. The company was initially funded and incubated at Bolt and was founded by two MIT alumni, Andrew Campanella and Melinda Hale. Loci recently closed a seed funding round and was also awarded a grant under the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center's Catalyst program. The company plans to use its seed investment to commercialize the product, enhance its proprietary control algorithms, grow the team, and deploy at additional landfills across the Northeast.
