Overview

Based in Redwood City, California, Logos Space (sometimes stylized as λogos) is building a mega-constellation of 4,178 low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellites that will operate in the K-, Q-, and V-bands. The network is designed around narrow beams and optical inter-satellite links to reduce interference and eavesdropping risks compared with traditional broadband satellite systems. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has granted the company a conditional license that requires deployment of more than half the fleet within seven years and full deployment by 2035. Logos plans to place its first operational satellites in orbit in 2027. The constellation will span seven orbital shells between 870 km and 925 km at inclinations of 28° to 90°. Former NASA project manager and Google executive Milo Medin founded the company. Logos recently closed a $50 million Series A round to fund development and pursue additional partnerships ahead of its inaugural launch.
