Logseq

228 Park Avenue South, New York, NY, 10003, United States

Overview

Logseq is an open-source knowledge-management and note-taking tool built on a graph database that stores inter-connected information in “infinite graphs.” The product currently consists of a Markup-language editor and supports plugins (examples cited include Google Calendar integration and a tagging tool) to extend capabilities. The project prioritizes privacy: notes are stored locally and the company does not have access to users' notes. Logseq launched the tool open source in October and reports usage by large organizations including Google, Meta and MIT. The team is working on real-time collaboration so multiple users can edit the same document, a capability expected soon. Founder Tienson Qin began the project solo to connect his notes across devices and is expanding it into a company.
