Long Game is a personal finance app based in San Francisco that lets users create savings accounts and earn virtual coins as they save. Those coins can be spent to play lottery-style games in the mobile app, with more saving yielding more coins and chances to play. The app is available nationwide for U.S. bank accounts. Long Game has nearly 70,000 users who are adding an average of $60 to their savings accounts each month. The company says it will use the funding to continue product development, drive user acquisition, boost marketing initiatives and expand the team with new hires. To date Long Game has raised $6.6M in total funding.
