Longbridge Group combines a securities brokerage business with fintech technology solutions. Its securities arm, Longbridge, offers a one-stop investment platform across Hong Kong, the US, and Singapore and supports stocks, US options, warrants, ETFs, REITs, and funds. The company has launched the finance industry’s first large language model application, PortAI, and its technology arm, Longbridge Whale, provides “Securities as a Service” to brokers. Longbridge Whale captured a 16% market share in Hong Kong within two years and by 2024 had signed over 80 broker clients and delivered trading systems for more than 60 brokers. The group reports overall profitability and its securities business has seen exponential growth, with annual trading volume on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange exceeding USD $200 billion. Longbridge was founded in March 2019 and operates offices in nine locations with nearly 400 employees, about 60% of whom are senior tech R&D talent.
