Logojoy is a Toronto-based AI-powered design platform that enables entrepreneurs to create professional-quality logos. Led by CEO and co-founder Dawson Whitfield and co-founder/CTO Rares Crisan, the company applies proprietary machine learning and deep learning models to various aspects of design. Logojoy has sold more than 100,000 logos to customers in 188 countries. The company plans to expand beyond logos into other small-business design areas using its ML and deep learning models. It raised C$6m in a Series A and previously raised $900k CAD in seed funding in 2017 from a group of angel investors. The Series A proceeds will be used to grow its team of data scientists and developers and to scale headcount from 29 to 50 by the end of 2019.
