Loops provides a product that connects to various data sources and uses machine learning models to surface specific, actionable recommendations for product teams. Its platform focuses on improving conversion, retention, engagement and monetization rather than offering generic dashboards. The solution is designed to deliver repeatable, automated insights without requiring a dedicated data science team. CEO and co-founder Tom Laufer, who led a similar operation at Google, started Loops after seeing smaller companies struggle to turn large volumes of data into useful product insights. The startup currently has around 20 employees and plans to add more with the new funding. As it grows, Loops says it is doubling down on diversity, including hiring more minorities to improve collaboration and brainstorming.
