LottieLab builds a web-based, end-to-end animation platform designed exclusively for Lottie files, letting teams craft high-fidelity, scalable animations without relying on Adobe After Effects. The product is collaborative and integrates with existing workflows to speed up deployment and lower the barrier to interaction design. Since launching in July the team has doubled and thousands of users have signed up to the waitlist, including designers and developers from TikTok, Canva, Airbnb, Twitter, Duolingo, Google, Uber, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Salesforce. The company reports that high-fidelity animations can drive four times the user engagement and a 70% increase in conversion rates, and says its tooling enables teams to deploy UX animation up to five times faster. LottieLab positions itself to democratise motion design and aims to capture a large opportunity by making animation assets easier to create and manage. The seed funding announced will support product development hires and planned team growth over the next year.
