LoveThis is an app that lets users build a personal collection of recommendations, browse friends’ recommendations and collect items they want to try or remember. Founded in November 2011 by Alexis Dormandy, the service has been described as "Evernote for recommendations." The company released a new version of its service, available on the web and free to download from the Apple App Store. LoveThis raised £1.25M in seed funding, backing its product development and launch efforts. Backers included angel investors such as Gi Fernando, who is a founder of Techlightenment, a Facebook global marketing partner, and a board director at LoveThis.
