Overview
Founded in late 2019, Loyal is focused on creating the first FDA-approved therapeutics that slow or reverse the metabolic drivers of aging in dogs. Its lead candidate, LOY-002, is a prescription daily pill intended to prolong the healthy years of senior dogs and has already satisfied the Reasonable Expectation of Effectiveness and Target Animal Safety portions of its Expanded Conditional Approval application. Loyal has three drugs in development and recently completed enrollment of 1,300 dogs across 70 veterinary clinics for its pivotal STAY trial, the largest clinical study in veterinary medicine. With regulatory progress well underway, the company plans to submit the final section of the LOY-002 dossier to the FDA later this year. The new capital will fund team expansion, distribution build-out, and market-launch preparations. Loyal has raised more than $250 million to date, underscoring strong investor confidence in the commercial potential of canine longevity therapeutics.
